VA Homemaker & Home Health Aide Program:

Absolute Care Solutions is contracted with both the Dorn VA (Columbia, SC) & Charles George VA (Asheville, NC) Medical Centers to provide VA Homemaker and Home Health Aide services to qualified veterans living at home in the greater Spartanburg community.

These programs bring Personal Care & Home Support assistance to the home of Veterans living alone or with family at little to no cost based on the Veteran’s eligibility. Pension with Aid & Attendance

Eligible Veterans or their surviving spouses receiving VA Pension benefits may a qualify for an additional monthly financial benefit called Aid & Attendance if they have a documented need for another person to assist them with completing activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, etc. or are considered homebound due to illness or loss of mental/physical abilities related to a disability or profound limited eyesight.

The Aid & Attendance Pension can help eligible Veterans and their surviving spouses fund the in home care services they need to remain healthy and supported at home independently or when living with family. Local community offices of Veterans Affairs can provide assistance with applications to obtain these benefits for eligible Veterans and surviving spouses.
